The Silent Power of Core Beliefs

Every person operates under a distinct set of core beliefs that unbeknownst to the individual, alters their thoughts, emotions and actions. Some core beliefs are healthy, such as “I know what it feels like to love unconditionally.” Others are responsible for recurring negative cycles, self-sabotage, and other damaging experiences that make life feel like an unrelenting struggle.

At each moment, everything you see and experience is filtered through your unique set of core beliefs. Some core beliefs are inherited based on global historical events, like war or racial or religious divides. Other subconscious beliefs come from traumatic events that happened to one's ancestors or in the immediate family lineage that was never healed or resolved, such as a family secret, a betrayal, or a bias carried forward from an old family feud. Besides core beliefs that are inherited from world culture and family history, still other limiting beliefs can be transferred to you during childhood through the misguided influence of parents, teachers, caregivers and other role models. The last source of negative core beliefs comes as a direct result of life experiences like physical, psychological or emotional trauma.

How Am I Affected By My Core Beliefs?

Core BeliefsThe ramifications of healthy vs. unhealthy core beliefs are subtle, yet significant. Unhealthy core beliefs can stop you from asking for help. They can keep you in cycles of behavior that are damaging to your body, mind, soul and spirit. And they can block you from loving others, bringing in abundant income, and generally believing that life is primarily meant to be joyful.

Healthy core beliefs on the other hand, allow what is easy, good and abund ant to flow into you life. They let you maintain a high set-point of peace, happiness, love and an ability to relate well to others.

In most cases the core beliefs we adopt as children are repeatedly reinforced through our subconscious mind’s impulse; healthy for healthy, unhealthy for unhealthy, deepening one’s set of perceptions into adulthood. For example, if you developed a belief early on that you were unwanted by your parents, throughout life you would continue to attract relationships that lead you to feel unwanted.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, if you grew up with a belief that you are lovable and loved unconditionally, you would continually attract situations and scenarios that reinforced that belief.

Sometimes beliefs from early childhood can change with significant life experiences. For example, if you were born with a core belief of “I am safe,” but as an adult a natural disaster strikes your house, your subconscious might have been affected deeply enough to register a new belief of “I am not safe.”

In essence, healthy beliefs can sometimes change to unhealthy ones, and unhealthy beliefs can be changed to healthy ones. To find out how, read on.

Once your unhealthy core beliefs are identified, you will be taken through a process of actively replacing all unhealthy beliefs with healthy ones at a cellular level. This process enables you to release all limiting beliefs and the feelings, traumas, and upsets that surround them.
